| Day 1 | Cairo | (Saturday) Arrive Cairo, staff will assist with clearing immigration and customs then transfer you to the Le Meridien Pyramids hotel. Overnight Cairo (D) VISAS: All travelers to Egypt must have a visa. Those traveling with USA or Canada passports can obtain theirs on arrival at Cairo. No photos, no forms and cost is about $18. Travelers with other passports should check with us whether you need one before arrival. |
| Day 2 | Cairo | (Sunday) Enjoy a full international buffet breakfast and meet your guide, one of Egypt's top female Egyptologists before starting the day at the Pyramids at Giza, home of the 7th wonder of the world, the Great Pyramid. Visit the inscrutable Sphinx and then a wonderful afternoon to explore the treasures of the Egyptian Antiquity Museum featuring King Tut's treasures then end the day with a visit to the Khan el Khalili bazaar where travelers have been finding bargains since the middle ages. | Day 3 | Luxor | (Monday) Buffet breakfast, check out of the hotel and staff transfers you to the airport, assists with checking in and you fly to Luxor. Arriving, staff will transfer you to your 5 star Deluxe Nile cruiser, the Queen of Hansa. Ship features include panoramic opening floor to ceiling windows, large cabins, T.V./video/radio, private baths and individual climate control. Lunch, then visit Luxor and Karnak Temples. Watch the sunset over the Necropolis of Thebes while enjoying dinner. Evening entertainment. Overnight Luxor (B at the hotel, L,D on the ship) OPTIONAL sound and light show at Karnak Temple. |

| Day 6 | Aswan | (Thursday) Breakfast then visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae. Lunch. FREE BONUS: Afternoon visit to the Botanical Gardens traveling by Felucca (native sailboat). These are wind powered only so if there is no wind this will not operate. Dinner and evening entertainment (B,L,D) OPTIONAL (extra cost) tour to Abu Simbel available this morning. If you take this excursion the site visits to Philae temple, etc. will be Friday morning. | Day 10 | Alexandria | (Monday) After breakfast staff transfers you to the airport, assists with checking in and you fly to Cairo. Transfer by air-conditioned coach to Alexandria, the city Alexander the Great built and Cleopatra made famous.
